BAD DOG

Bruiser is a VERY BAD DOG. Kevin is FINALLY home. He doesn't think Bruiser is as bad as I describe when he is away- so this time I took pictures for proof. SEE He really is a naughty dog. He chewed my boot, dug a whole in our yard that could quite possible fit Gabe inside, chewed dozens of papers. Yes it is true the dog ate the homework. He was a very bad dog to my friends that were over (So sorry Nancy for Bruiser's continued "affections and yes he continues to love underwear- any brand any style, it doesn't matter. He will risk life and limb to get underwear. I hope the fence is installed before I have reached my breaking point with him. Oh wait- I am already there. Is there such a thing as doggy daycare?

Gabe is 6!!!!!

Gabe turned 6 yesterday. He had a day filled with presents, cake and fun!!!!!! His party with his friends will be the first week of May.
Happy Birthday to the sweetest 6 year old I know!!!!!!

Easter 2011

We had a wonderful Easter here! Church, dinner with friends and a great egg hunt. It was a perfect weather day. House is clean again, table set for Gabe's birthday breakfast, heading to bed!!!!

RANDOM LIFE

I know you would love a long, meaningful post- but for today, this is all I could eek out. When I feel like I am treading water and not sinking in it, I will give you a long overdue update of life in our house. Since January, it has been nothing but trying to keep up- More later....

Sad Days/Happy days

I do not think I have told you- I am really in a funk these days. ONE of the reasons for my FUNKINESS- is that our friends are moving I do not want to think of life here with them not here. So I am remaining in complete denial, pretending they are staying. The sign is going to go up soon. I will have to look at it. I will have to face it- unless of course I steal it, hide it or put it in another yard. They are like family, we celebrate all of our holidays with them. Shes my rock. I might sink. Boy am I sad!!!!!!

Karaoke

Over spring break we went with some friends to a local restaurant. They have a children's karaoke. Let me say- if you live around here it is good entertainment. Ben and Gabe, along with their friend Patrick sang, "I Got A Feeling" Now- several things were funny about this crew. This is Gabe's favorite song, which he knows every single word to. The only thing he could eek out, was "WOO HOO". Patrick has experience and boy did it show. Seriously, I knew he could work a crowd, he already proved this when he stood on the picnic table at his fifth birthday and told the "crowd" Thanks for the gifts- but more importantly, thanks for being my friend. Man he can engage you. Maybe this is why has an agent. No- he really does, in real life. Ben got serious, like he was trying out for American Idol. Ben loves music and singing (Thanks Tricia for those wonderful Kindermusik experiences) He did not want to miss a thing, so he was ultra focused. What a funny group- these 3!!!!

Shedd Aquarium

Kevin and Gabe had a great time together at Shedd Aquarium over spring break! Ben and I had an equally fun time at home in our pajamas.
