Chicago

This is where I get to go today. Alone- well alone meaning without children. Is it sad that I get excited about Pottery Barn, The Container Store, Crate and Barrel, Whole Foods, Land of Nod. Just typing them in makes me happy. PLUS- they opened a Pottery Barn Teen store recently, I have been wanting to check that out. My friend and I make the perfect traveling pair. I do not mind driving in the traffic, and she is a great navigator. After all, if we can travel to Brazil together, we can make it to Chicago. Hubbies have a great time with the kiddeos today, we will be thinking of you!!!!!!!!

Company

This picture says to me. "I like being with you." As I stood there to take the picture, they did not know I was there. Although each was doing there own thing, I think they were both comforted by the mere presence of each other. Kevin had just gotten back from a week away, and Ben just wanted to be with him. So together they sat, doing there own thing!

Rain-Sun- Iowa-Indiana

You be the judge- Would you have liked to stay home with Gabe to sit in the freezing rain to watch soccer, OR go to Iowa where the sun was shinning bright and the PANTHERS played in the DOME- Hmmmmm.

Soccer

Gabe started fall soccer. He is having a great time! His first game is Saturday! He is so tired at the end of the day, he falls asleep as soon as his head hits a pillow!

School Pictures, Weather & Peeks of Sunshine

These three things seem to go together. School begins, school pictures are taken and the weather turns cooler even a little weird (Check out the sky here last night) Occasionally there are lovely peeks of sunshine, when you can capture your 5 year old playing with his shadow on the wall when he thinks no one is watching!!- He should know better!

Church Picnic

We had fun at our church picnic this weekend. Both boys climbed the rock wall and Gabe had his first ride on a horse.

WHO IS THAT POKEMON??????

Gabe has always liked to dress up so I was thrilled to find these costumes for 3 dollars each. Gabe had a great time trying on each costume. He said he still wants to be a power ranger for Halloween!
