Mom Update

Thinking about my Mom today. This is one of my favorite pictures of my Mom. Life for her is uncertain right now and I feel I do not have a lot to tell you. She has been in the hospital over a week now.
I know she had a stroke. I know it was big. I know she will require a lifelong care plan. I know my Mom has A LOT of LOYAL friends, who visit her daily. I know my sister Cathy must be exhausted, she has been there since Day 1. I know the hospital where she is has an over the top, wonderfully talented staff of nurses and doctors, I know when I was there she was unresponsive. Her brain is swelling, which is not HORRIBLE because swelling is a way to protect itself. When they say it, it sounds bad. I know she will move from the hospital into a long term rehab facility. The rest right now is uncertain. It is hard. It will be long. Keep praying.
