RANDOM -LIFE IN THE KAHL HOUSE
This is what greets me every morning when I get into my shower- Gabe's "guys" They are so cute don't you think? Gabe loves these guys and makes up stories of their shower adventures, so I have to love them too!!!
Ben did not like what was for dinner. He was sent upstairs for complaining at the table. This is the airplane message we received. Brothers and sisters of my family, do YOU ALL remember doing this? I HAD to laugh!
Ben won the KINGSMEN award at wrestling Monday night. He was soooo proud. It is given to the person who worked really hard and did their best. The award itself is a bottle of Gatorade. Brilliant!!!!!! Way to go Ben!!

TOP 5
HERE IS A LIST OF MY TOP 5 THINGS HUSBANDS SHOULD NEVER DO WHILE CALLING HOME FROM OUT OF TOWN BUSINESS
1. Say, "I am so tired."
2. Talk about the weather especially if theirs is nicer than yours.- and it always is!
3. Discuss dinner plans- Husbands hear me now- your wife does not care if you are dining at Ruth Chris or PF Changs so do not tell us. Chances are we are having dinner with a leprechaun who is magically delicious.
4. Now is not the time to see if your dry cleaning is here, if a bill is in the mail, if the cars oil is changed. You are lucky the kids made it to school, that they were fed a delicious breakfast of frozen waffles and that they had underwear on, in the right direction! Expect no more when you are away.
5. Don't under any circumstances ask how your wives day went. Even if it went OK- she won't tell you THAT! Just tell her what a great wife she is and yes it is OK to buy that and yes that too...Get it????

Gold Medal for Gabe
Ben = Mary Take 2
Here is just a bit more "evidence" that our children learn what they see. Ben was instructed to go pick up the Bakugan. When he came back down and asked me for 6 containers, I really did not think much about it. When he told me he was done, I found THIS- ORGANIZATION! I was so happy. He did EXACTLY what I would have done. He said, "The old way just wasn't working anymore. Hmmm, I wonder where he has heard that?

Lake Effect Snowstorm
Between midnight last night and 1PM today we had 23.6 inches of snow. It was unbelievable how quickly and how much was coming down. If you have ever seen lake effect snow, you know the flakes are very big and beautiful. The boys and Kevin spent all afternoon by the retention pond sledding, drinking hot chocolate around the fire pit, and making snow jumps. It was definitely a winter wonderland around here today!!!
